Football Party Ideas

I don’t need an excuse to throw a football party, but getting paid to do it by Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community is a pretty good one!Football Party Ideas - events to CELEBRATE! #gametimegoodies #shop

It’s no secret that my favorite thing about entertaining is the food. It’s the first thing I think about when I’m hosting. At the same time, I like to actually attend my parties and join in all the fun! With the BIG GAME just a couple of weeks away, I want to share these fun and SIMPLE football party ideas that let you still enjoy the game!

I headed to Walmart  and picked up all the goods for the party. Literally, one stop. That’s my kind of party. They’ve got DiGiorno Pizza on Rollback right now for $4.50 (As I mentioned on Instagram, I got a new freezer for Christmas? Let’s just say I stocked up on the pizzas.) They’ve also got a lot of really cute football themed party supplies, TOUCHDOWN!

I whipped up some cute printables to add to the fun (yes, you can download them for FREE below) and set-up was a SNAP!

Football Party Food:

To kick-off the party I arranged the pepperoni on the DiGiorno Rising Crust Pepperoni to be in the shape of a football and added a little bit of shredded mozarella cheese on top for the laces. Cute and easy!

Baked to golden perfection. It looks just as good as the professionally photographed one on the box! I’d say that’s as good as a Hail Mary Pass right there.  And, I have to say – it was really good. It’s our favorite brand anyway, but it has “new sauce” and it tasted really fresh and herb-y (I know that’s not a word). My favorite thing about DiGiorno (no they’re not paying me to say this), is that leftovers microwave really well. With most pizza, it gets kind of tough when you reheat it, but this doesn’t, I’m not sure how they do that, but I like it.

Then, what party isn’t complete with the holy trinity of dips: queso, guacamole and fresh made salsa (okay, it’s more of a pico de gallo, recipes will be on the blog SOON!).

I wrapped some 2-liter sodas with my free printable wraps (you can get them below). Cute, right?!

As a side note, during half time I always pop some popcorn and pass out ice-cream sandwiches to get us through the second half. 🙂

Walmart has an awesome selection of football themed party goods. I got football themed napkins, plates, streamers and the table cover!  I made the printable “GO TEAM” pennant banner and used my Silhouette machine to cut out some cardstock footballs to bring all of it together.

Just for fun I made these flag pennants and provided a few referee whistles (since we’ve got a few that think they are a referee in our family anyway – might as well give them a yellow napkin to act as a penalty flag and a whistle – right?)
