St. Patrick’s Day Activities for Kids

We are all set for St. Patrick’s Day! No pinching at our house! Thanks to Oriental Trading for sending me some amazing supplies to use for this fun party – we had a great time and I hardly lifted a finger! We invited a few of my nieces over for an afternoon of St. Patrick’s Day activities to get them all set for the holiday next week.

Kindy 500 Car Rainbow Dash

My daughter is participating in the Kindy 500 this week at school. We had so much fun creating this Rainbow Dash Kindy 500 car. The Kindy 500 is an activity for the kids in Kindergarten where they get to “drive” to visit the different monuments in the USA and learn about them. Each child brings a cardboard box to drive around.

Halloween Porch Decorations

I’m excited to share with you my Halloween porch decorations this year. In years past, I’ve just focused on my front door (see my SkeletonFrankenstein and Spider’s Web doors that are super easy DIY projects), but this year I wanted to decorate my entire front porch. I was inspired by the severed fingers I made last year to do a Witches theme and I think it turned out awesome! Halloween Porch Decorations - Events To Celebrate

I got a few new pieces to amp up my decor from the Halloween section of Oriental Trading and they were perfect! I still got to do a little bit of DIY crafting, but these pieces saved me a ton of time and look great!

My Little Pony Party Games

This My Little Pony Party was so much fun to plan, mostly because my daughter was so dang excited for every detail of it. She and I would sit together and browse all the fun ideas on Pinterest and the party practically planned itself! With 12 little friends coming to the party, I knew that it needed to be simple enough that I could manage it all myself. In the end, the My Little Pony Party Games we did were a huge hit!

Vintage Airplane Shower Printables & Games

The fun continues with post #2 about this cute Vintage Airplane baby shower I did for my niece. Today I’ll be sharing the FREE printables, favors and fun activities we did at the shower.

I followed my Rules for Hosting a Shower on a Budget and prepared 3 activities for the guests.

Vintage Airplane Shower Activities:

The first was Advice Cards. To help it fit with the Vintage Airplane theme, I ordered these Vintage Postcards on Amazon and asked guests to fill in advice to the new mom on them and slip them into the cute little suitcase. This was something that the guests could do while they mingled and it was helpful to the mom!

Nature Party Ideas

Ah! The weather has started to warm up a bit and we have loved playing outside! I love walking around my yard to see my tulips peeking up through the dirt. I recently had a really fun day with my kids and 3 of my nieces and all of the things we did would make a really fun Nature Party! If your kids are fans of the new show on PBS – Nature Cat – this would make a really fun Nature Cat Birthday Party

Easter Bunny Craft

I always see the EOS Lip Balm right by the register at Walmart and last time I had a little light bulb moment, I saw a cute little Easter Bunny and knew I had to turn around, grab a couple of sheets of felt ($.23 each) and make it! So I did!
