What a year it has been! When I started this blog last February, I had no idea what I was in for. It has been incredible to meet so many wonderful people and share such creative parties that have been submitted along with my own ideas. Thank you for recieving them all so kindly and for encouraging me along the way. I LOVE to see others using the ideas I share and love even more when you come and let me know that you like what you see here at Events To Celebrate.

1- 9 BABY SHOWER ACTIVITIES/GAMES
I love a good shower game, but most are totally lame. So, take my advice and use these instead! With 44,915 views, this is my top post from 2013! 🙂
2 – BACON AND CREAM CHEESE BREAD DIP
I love party food (no really, I’m obsessed with it), so I’m so glad this was as popular as it has been because it is ridiculously good. It’s the perfect party appetizer or “sit-in-my-jammies-and-watch-a-chic-flick” indulgence. I’ll be forever grateful to my good friend Meridee first for introducing it to me and second, for letting me share it with you.
3 – SCHOOL LUNCH JOKES
I remember taking a lunch each day to school, and thought these would be so fun to include for some laughs at lunchtime. I’m glad you all enjoyed them too!

It doesn’t surprise me at all that this is #1, there are some really awesome ideas here (I can say that because most of them are my family/friends)!

Everyone loves to go as a group! That’s why these group and couples costumes are such a hit!
3 – HALLOWEEN TRUNK OR TREAT IDEAS
The fact that all three of my top posts were Halloween related, makes me feel so happy. It’s my favorite holiday and I love that so many of you love it just as much as me! The trunk-or-treat is really popular with church groups because it provides a safe, social and super fun environment for the kids on Halloween.

1 – DESPICABLE ME BIRTHDAY PARTY
My friend Chelle knows how to throw a themed party and I’m so glad she let me share her ideas with you. She is so creative and with the release of the second movie – these ideas were so perfect!
2 – BUTTERFLY THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY DECORATIONS
I really love doing a party theme from scratch – not one that is already marketed and overdone. I love coming up with my own interpretation on things and so selecting something like a butterfly theme was perfect for my daughters 2nd birthday. I loved putting it together, but I loved even more the great time she and her friends had at the party.
3 – DANIEL TIGER’S NEIGHBORHOOD BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS
Its one of my favorite shows to watch with my daughter. I love the positive messages it teaches in each episode and it would really make SUCH a fun party!
3 – DOC MCSTUFFINS BIRTHDAY PARTY
Once again, my friend Chelle hit a home run. Doc McStuffins has become so popular and these DIY party ideas are so perfect for any little Doc in training!
