“Song For a Fifth Child” Printable Poem

|

Song for a Fifth Child PrintableMy favorite nursery poem is Song for a Fifth Child by Ruth Hulbert Hamilton. Reading it makes me feel affirmed about having my first priority be all the rocking, snuggling and loving I do with my precious little ones. They are growing up much too quickly and I love the message in the poem that there is so much that can wait, but enjoying each moment with our babies is something we’ll never regret. It acknowledges all that pulls at us as Mothers and gives such a sweet and gentle image of the bliss you feel while rocking your baby, despite all there is to do.

I created this printable to put in an 8×10 frame in my sons nursery and share it here with you if you’d like to do the same.
