A creamy and salty bread dip that is a show stopper at any gathering it is brought to! Smoky, cheesy, and so dang good!

Equipment
1 crockpot/ceramic dish
1 serving spoon
1 platter for the bread slices
1 Cutting Board
1 Knife
measuring cups/spoons
Ingredients
8slicesbacon - cooked crisp and crumbled
8ozcream cheese - room temperature
1/2c.mayonnaise
2tsp.dijon mustard
1 1/2c.shredded swiss/cheddar cheese
3green onions diced
1/2tsp.horseradish sauce
Instructions
Gather all of your ingredients.
Cook your bacon - either in the oven on high (400 degrees) or in the microwave for 4-5 minutes.
Once the bacon cools, cut it into small bits and pieces.
Chop up your green onion into 1/4 inch bits.
Combine all ingredients and mix well using a rubber spatula.
Transfer to a shallow baking dish (about 9 x 9) and bake at 400 for 15 minutes.
While the bread dip bakes, cut 2 loves of artisan bread into 1/2 inch slices.
Brush each slice of bread with a small amount of olive oil/butter and then broil in the oven for 3-6 minutes on a baking sheet until toasted.
Serve the bread dip and bread crostinis warm.

Note: I've made this a few times with Sharp Cheddar instead of Swiss - and I can attest to the deliciousness of both cheeses. Try it, you won't be disappointed with either!
