"Stars and Stripes" Patriotic Cookie Sandwiches
A deliciously easy patriotic treat to enjoy on any American holiday. Perfect for the 4th of July or Memorial Day!!

Equipment
- 1 Cookie Sheet
- 1 Knife
Ingredients
- 1 Box Pillsbury Pre-cut Cookies (Salute to Service Design)
- 1 Can Cream Cheese Frosting
- 1 Jar Patriotic Sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Place the Pillsbury "Salute to Service" cookie dough bites onto a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake cookies for approximately 12-14 minutes. Be careful not to over bake them. (Pull them out even if they look light).
- Allow cookies the to cool.
- Using a butter knife, spread an even layer of frosting on to the flat side of a cookie. (about 1/4 in thick).
- Add another cookie (flat bottom facing the frosting) and lightly press them together, forming a cookie sandwich.
- After all of the cookie sandwiches are formed, roll the frosting edge in sprinkles.
- Refrigerate cookie sandwiches and serve cold!
