Start by finding the non-glossy side of the poster board. This side will be a little easier to write on. It is also easier to erase if you make a mistake or need to adjust your spacing.

Then, start by writing out your message in pencil. Try to use clean handwriting and make sure to set the candies down where you plan to attach them. That way you can make sure to leave enough room for them.

When the writing is finished, go over it in your favorite highlighter or marker.

After outlining the words, use a hot glue gun to attach the candies to the poster in their designated spots! Let the glue dry, and then you're done!
