Back To School Breakfast

I’ve been a fan of Marci Coombs for a long time now.  She is super creative and  really incorporates the theme she has chosen into every aspect of her parties! If you don’t read her blog on a regular basis – you should, and I have a feeling once you see this party you’ll be convinced of that!

School in Arizona (where Marci lives) begins in July, but in most other areas it doesn’t start until late August – early September. That means most of you have got plenty of time to throw something for your school-goers, and these ideas will help you make it a breakfast they won’t forget! Marci hosted this for girls in her church congregation and I can only imagine how much fun they had!

The Decorations

The adorable red and white polka dot table cover is actually WRAPPING PAPER! Genius, right?! To make it even better, she found it in the $1 bin at Michaels. The placemats are 12 x 12 scrapbooking paper from Hobby Lobby and the writting strips are just from the Dollar Store (my favorite store!). The centerpieces were apples, crayons and glue sticks in buckets and a glass jar. Simple and so cute!

The Food

Yum! The food looks so great! She served Muffins, Fruit, French Toast Roll Ups and Egg & Hashbrown Casserole.

The decorations throughout the entire breakfast are super cute, but these are a few of my favorite!

The printable banner is from Tom Kat Studio and is available for only $5.50! That get’s you the printable downloads and you can either print them at home or send them to a copy center to be printed on a color printer. Either way, they are darling, perfectly themed and inexpensive!

As the girls arrived they got right to work on this fun “Back to School is Cool Quiz”.

Throw your own back to school breakfast for just your kids or invite their friends too! Love her ideas? I knew you would. That’s why you should follow her on Pinterest to be certain you don’t miss a thing!
