I’ve been on a “how to host affordable kid’s birthday parties” kick lately. As prices are going up, I find myself still wanting to create fun fully themed parties, but my budget doesn’t quite stretch as far. Which is why I created these free pirate birthday party printables!

This download includes everything you need to pull together a kids pirate party, perfectly on theme. These pirate party decorations might be all you need, or you may choose to decorate more elaborately, and these will just be a part of your pirate party decor. Either way, I think you’ll love the pirate vibe and all the pirate-y fun these decorations provide.

What’s Included in This Free Pirate Party Printable Set

I wanted to be sure to include everything you need to get started planning your pirate birthday party in style. And I think I’ve done it! Well, except the pirate ship….I mean, I wasn’t able to include that, sadly.

Party Favor Gift Tags

These treasure map style gift tags say “Buried Treasure” and are sized to attach to party favor bags or be used as gift tags. Put these pirate-themed gift tags on your party favor bags and tie them on with a bit of twine or ribbon for an easy, no-fuss favor that still feels themed.

Cupcake Toppers

The cupcake toppers feature a little pirate ship design and are ready to cut out and attach to a toothpick. If you want them to look extra polished, use a circle punch or Cricut to get perfect circles instead of cutting freehand. It makes a surprisingly big difference in how finished they look sitting on top of a cupcake.

Cupcake Wrappers

These wrap around the base of a standard cupcake liner and feature the same pirate ship design as the toppers, so your dessert table looks coordinated without any extra effort.

Water Bottle Labels

I also included a free printable kids pirate party invitation to go with the set. It reads “Ahoy Matey! A pirate crew is being assembled and ye be invited,” with space to fill in the captain’s name (your child), date, time, place, and RSVP details. It’s an easy way to let your guest know the theme before the party even starts.

How to Use Your Pirate Party Printables

These pirate party printables are designed to be simple! Print them at home on a cardstock (white matte coated cardstock for the best color), though regular printer paper works fine too. A hole punch, a pair of scissors, ribbon or twine, and a circle punch (if you have one) are really the only tools you need to pull the whole set together in just a few minutes.

Arrrg, ye be warned though, if you use regular paper or a basic cardstock, the colors won’t be as vibrant or as true. This is my preferred cardstock for printing party decor. Also be sure to use your printers “best print quality” setting for the best results.
