Tips For Teacher Appreciation Gifts
- Pick a Theme – While it isn’t totally necessary, having a theme you work around can make the gift feel more thought out and intentional.
- Keep it Simple – Though teachers love gifts, they often have many students. A large gift may make them uncomfortable, so keep it reasonable. A general rule of thumb is to spend $10-30 dollars per gift.
- Include 3-10 items – Particularly if you’re creating a basket gift, the general guideline is to add a handful of items. Having a variety of items will help the basket look full and abundant.
Yellow “Sunshine” Item Ideas
Below is a list of all the items that I included in my teacher appreciation gift basket.
- Mamba Fruity Chews
- Toblerone Chocolate Bar
- Large Yellow Scissors
- Elmer’s Glue Stick
- Papermate Mechanical Pencils
- Crayola Colored Pencils
- ICE Lemonade
These were all placed in a small white basket with ribbon and a gift tag. Once I had all my items, it literally took me 5 minutes or less to put this together. So simple and cute!
Now I know that you may want to customize your teacher gift (maybe you know their fav snacks or restaurant) SO I’ve included a list below with more ideas for making a “You Are My Sunshine basket”. The nice thing about assembling a teach appreciation gift like this is that you really can’t go wrong. There are tons of yellow and golden colored products that can be grouped together to make a cute, themed gift.
