With the recent re-release of Disney’s The Jungle Book, I thought it was perfect timing to share these adorable Jungle Themed Birthday Party Ideas! My friends Karson and Betsy are hoping to adopt and I am so happy to bring awareness to their little family. Let’s check out the perfect details from their daughters first birthday – a jungle birthday party!

Jungle Birthday Party Decorations:

I love all the animal print and bright colors! 

Yum! Who doesn’t love a chocolate fountain at a party?! I’m afraid I’d pull my chair in front of it and not move the rest of the event! 🙂

Aren’t these so fun and creative?! They took beach balls and glued cupcake liners to them and then added the animal print with spray paint. The string to hang it from is just tied around the nozzle you inflate the ball with. I LOVE them!! If you’d rather make a traditional Tissue Paper Pom Pom, here is some awesome Animal Print Tissue Paper.  If you’re not up for the DIY project – these Animal Print Party Lanterns would be PERFECT! 

For a fun and inexpensive table decoration, boxes were wrapped in white paper and then wrapped with lots of fun ribbons, including Animal Print Ribbon, tulle and satin ribbon.

 This birthday banner is completely adorable. They used a die cut machine (a Cricut or Silhouette machine) to cut out Animal Print Scrapbook Paper. 

Jungle Birthday Party Activities:

Kids and adults alike love getting creative with sidewalk chalk! This is especially great if you’re doing it as a family party – the kids can draw while the adults chat!

Jungle Animal Paper Bag puppets were a really fun craft! They used a die cut machine to facillitate this, but you can also purchase kits like this Animal Puppets Paper Bag Craft Kit.  

Jungle Birthday Party Cake: 

Okay, if you’ve seen the other parties on my site that I’ve featured from Karson and Betsy (here, here, here & here), you know they’ve got MAD CAKE SKILLS! Seriously. 

I’d say the adorable birthday girl is pretty pleased with her cake!
