1. “Poopy Diaper” Game
If you’re looking to give your guests a good laugh, this is the one! It is hilarious and “gross” all at the same time, but in the best way possible.
What You’ll Need:
- 6 clean diapers (I find that newborn or size 1 are best)
- A variety of fun size candy bars
- Spoon, bowl, marker and microwave
- Printed out game cards

2. Baby Shower Bingo – Presents Edition
Opening presents is a common activity at baby showers, but it can quickly become boring for the guests. This game keeps guests engaged and excited during the gift opening part of the party!
What You’ll Need:
- FREE Baby Shower Bingo Printables for each player
- Pens/pencils for all players
How to Play:
Before opening any of the baby shower gifts, have the attendees fill out a bingo card. All the spaces are blank, so players are meant to add their guesses of what gifts the mama-to-be will receive from her friends and family. Players are welcome to check out the baby shower registry (if there is one) or simply come up with baby related items that they think might be given at the party (think baby blanket, pacifiers, baby bottle, baby clothes, etc). Then, as gifts are opened, people can mark off any squares on their bingo card that include a gift that the mom opens. Whoever gets a line of 5 in a row first wins!
3. Candy Bar Name Game
Take this sweet occasion to the next level by giving all your friends the chance to win their own candy bar!
What You’ll Need:
- 22 candy bars (listed on the game sheet)
- Free printable player cards
- Pens/pencils for all players
How to Play:
To prep for this game, print a copy of the player card for each baby shower attendee. Additionally, purchase one of each of the candy bars listed on the game sheet to use as prizes. Then when you’re ready to play, read aloud the phrase and have guests try to guess which candy bar corresponds with that phrase. The first person to chime in with the correct candy bar name gets to keep that candy bar! At the end, go over the list of phrases and candy bar names again.

4. Who Is that Baby? (Celebrity or Regular)
Who has the best facial recognition?? Find out with this tried and true group game!
What You’ll Need:
- Power point with baby photos (of celebrities or shower attendees)
How to Play:
If you have enough time before hand, you could gather a photo from each baby shower attendee to add to your power point. Sometimes this can be difficult though, so celebrities are a nice option if you are planning closer to the baby shower.
Either way, compile a power point that has pictures of friends/celebrities when they were babies or very young and have the group try to guess who the photos are of. You could have players write down their answers and go over them at the end, or simply have everyone guess out loud.
5. Baby Shower Mad Libs
Want to put a smile on your guests’ faces? This game offers silly answers and all things baby to bring you a memorable experience!
What You’ll Need:
- Index cards
- Pens/ pencils for all players
How to Play:
To play this baby shower game, give each guest an index card and have them write a question related to the care of a baby. Make sure to let players know that their question cannot be a yes or no question. Then, have them turn the card over so the question is facing down and hand the card to the person next to them. That person now has to write the answer to their original question (the question they wrote) on the new card. Once everyone has written their response on the back of the index card, have the mommy-to-be read the questions and answers. Let the laughter ensue!
6. The Price Is Right (Baby Shower Version)
This baby-shower take on the old game show “The Price is Right” puts your friends’ shopping knowledge to the test! It is a fun game to play and sometimes has shocking results!
What You’ll Need:
- A Powerpoint of baby items —they can even be from the parent(s)-to-be’s registry wish list
- Small gifts for the winners
- Pen and paper for the guests
How to Play:
Before the shower, create a quick power point with pictures of each baby item and a written list of how much each item costs. When you are ready to play at your baby shower, hand out a writing utensil and paper to all players. Then, go through the powerpoint. Show each item, give a description, and have your guests write down a price as a guess. The guest with the closest price without going over gets a gift.

7. Guess the Famous Parent
What You’ll Need:
- Sticky notes with the names of famous parents written on them
How to Play:
Before your shower guests arrive, compile a list of famous parents that people would likely be familiar with. These could be people from pop culture such as Kim Kardashian, movie characters like Lily Potter, or even your own friends/family. Then, write the famous parent names on sticky notes and hand one out to each guest. Make sure that guests receive a sticky note and place it on their forehead WITHOUT looking at it. (similar to the game Headbands). Instruct all players to walk around asking “yes” and “no” questions to one another as they try to figure out which famous parent they have on their sticky note!
