When you’re planning your Thanksgiving celebration, don’t forget about the kids’ table! It’s going to be the best part of the day for the kids, full of laughter, crafts, and a little bit of chaos. A Charlie Brown–inspired theme is such a fun way to make their table extra special this year.

Each Thanksgiving, my daughter’s class watches A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, and it gave me the perfect idea for a simple and playful setup at home. The movie’s mix of popcorn, pretzels, and fun perfectly fits the spirit of the holiday, and it’s so easy to recreate.
Simple Essentials for the Kids Table
There are a few must-haves for any Thanksgiving kids table: a Charlie Brown plastic table cover for easy cleanup and paper plates and cups that make everything stress-free.
Once the basics are in place, it’s time for the fun part: adding a little Peanuts-style personality!
Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Place Settings
For a table that looks festive but stays practical, try these cute paper plates and napkins. The Charlie Brown paper goods I used originally are no longer available, but these ones are adorable and on theme. The bright designs instantly set a cheerful tone, and since they’re disposable, cleanup takes seconds.

To keep little hands busy before the meal, I like to include a few movie-inspired snacks. Snoopy famously serves popcorn, toast, and pretzel sticks, so we made these cute popcorn “corn on the cob” treats to match the theme.
To make them, fill a sandwich bag with popcorn and press it into one corner of the bag to form a football shape. Wrap a green napkin around it, leaving some popcorn sticking out the top, and secure it with a Charlie Brown sticker or a small piece of tape. It’s easy for kids to do themselves and makes such a cute table accent.

No-Prep Coloring Placemats
If you want to give the kids something fun to do while waiting for dinner, Peanuts-inspired Thanksgiving coloring placemats are always a hit.

I love that they’re completely no prep, just set them out with crayons, and the kids can color while you finish cooking. We’ve made our own leaf placemats in the past, but these are a great time-saver during a busy holiday week.
Thankful Wheels for a Sweet Touch

To round out the table, add a simple Thanksgiving thankful wheel (this one is different than the one shown) for each child. They can color and write what they’re thankful for, and it’s a great way to start a conversation about gratitude before dinner. You can find Peanuts-themed versions online or make your own with paper plates and brads.
We usually make a Thankful Tree together as a family throughout November, but this smaller activity is perfect for kids to do independently at the table.
Bringing It All Together
A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving kids table is festive, budget-friendly, and fun to create. With themed paper goods, easy snacks, and simple activities, it keeps little ones entertained while the adults finish up making dinner.
Plus, you’ll love seeing their excitement when they recognize the details from the movie! It’s a sweet and memorable way to make Thanksgiving a little more magical for the youngest guests.
