“Pamper the Bride” Bachelorette Party Theme

| | |

This fun bachelorette party theme helps you “pamper the bride” before her big day! Sit back, relax, and spa your way to the wedding day!

If you’re new here, HI! I am Natalie 🙂 I am a 23 year old girl who recently got married and is having the TIME OF HER LIFE watching her best friends plan and prep for their own weddings!! I mean c’mon. Seeing your favorite people fall in love and plan the best day of their life…how could you not absolutely love that?!

With summer coming, you already know that my calendar is stacked with weddings to attend. I think the official count right now is 6? Busy I know!

Since I am in the stage of life where weddings are a big focus, I have taken it upon myself to do everything I can to make wedding and party planning as simple as possible! (see the weddings tab to checkout all of my planning tips and resources!)

One of my dear friends is getting married this summer and just had her bachelorette party. I wasn’t the one who planned it, but I got to participate and it was SO FUN. They did a “Pamper the Bride” bachelorette party theme and had some amazing spa-related activities. I loved the idea so much that I asked the bride-to-be if I could share it and she said YES! (She’s gotten really good at that with the proposal and all hehe)

So, I am going to use this article today to highlight the things I loved from my friend’s bachelorette party, offer some tips and ideas, and help you plan the best themed bach party ever!

Party dress code: black pj’s and pastel swim suits!

“Pamper the Bride” Invite Template

Here is a party invite template that you could easily use to send out to your friends!

For easiest use, here is my suggestion: Got to Canva.com and create a new design (portrait invite) that is 5 in by 7 in. Paste the copied image onto the blank invite. Stretch the invite image using the corners, so that it fits the page. Then, use the text feature to add in any of the information for your party!!

This method won’t allow you to change anything about the picture below such as the fonts or spacing, but you can fill it in with your info!

And of course, you could also use one of Canva’s pre-made designs. My design is meant to simply save you time in party planning and prep!

Important info to add to your bachelorette party invite/send to guests:

  • Who the party is for
  • Theme (if you have one)
  • Party time and location
  • Dress code
  • The bride’s bra and underwear sizes
  • RSVP info (generally a phone number)
  • Any other special instructions – surprise party, parking, costs, etc.

Bachelorette Party Decorations

One of my biggest tips for themed party decorating is to make sure you include a visual focal point! However, creating a focal point doesn’t have to be expensive or extravagant.

For this party, we used some simple decorations such as a pink and gold balloon arch, a “Bride” banner, a letter board and cute garlands to decorate the space.

One of the easiest way to keep decorating cost-friendly is to simplify. It can be really easy to go over board, but with a few touches, you can create something that is both cute and budget-friendly.

In case you like any of the items that were used for this party, I’ll add links below to help you recreate this look!

Some other ideas you could consider to bring in the “spa” theme are adding a scent diffuser, humidifier, a stack of clean towels, a lotion or nail polish display, or candles.

Bachelorette Party Food Ideas

We all know that food is a must at a party, and this one was no different! It featured a variety of fruits, sweets, and other goodies to snack on.

The Party Menu:

  • Chick-fil-a nuggets and sauce
  • Chocolate fountain
  • Strawberry and banana skewers
  • Banana bread
  • Sliced apples
  • Pineapple chunks
  • Large pretzel sticks
  • Nilla wafers
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Chocolate chip cookies
  • Andes mints
  • Sour patch kids
  • M&M candies
  • Water
  • Lemonade

I’m of the opinion that chocolate fountains make any party better. Is that because I am a chocoholic? Maybe…..but can you blame me?! If you’re looking to add a chocolate fountain to your festivities, I suggest this one! And these wooden skewers are really good too!

And while we didn’t use any name labels at this party, make sure to check out my list of 50 foods to serve at a bachelorette party along with themed names!!

Spa Activities to Pamper the Bride

Now, let’s get into the PAMPERING!

When doing a spa party, you want to incorporate activities that are soothing. These can be done at someone’s home or out and about.

I’ve put together a list of fun activities you could do at a “Pamper the Bride” bachelorette party, and I want to share them with you!

Spa Activity Ideas List

Go hot tubbingWe did this together and it was so fun! Everyone put on their suits, tied up their hair, grabbed a cold drink, and hopped into the tub. Hot tubbing is a great way to sit and chat. Just beware that it can be hard to do with large groups.
Get mani pedis together Girls love a new set of fresh nails. Plus the warm water, massage, and girl talk? Say less! If the party is close to the wedding, this can help the bride get her nails prepped for the big day!
Make bath bombsIt might sound crazy, but you actually only need 4 ingredients to make homemade bath bombs: baking soda, citric acid, essential oils, and coloring! These can get a little messy, but they’re an exciting hands-on activity. We did this as a group, and each girl got to take home a bath bomb of their own. Easy party favor!
Do facialsSet up a little station with mirrors, makeup remover wipes, facial cream, and face masks for everyone. This is an activity that you could make really intricate or really simple. We did something similar with these bubble headbands and brightening eye masks.
Make Lip ScrubsSimilar to bath bombs, lip scrubs are a simple DIY that your friends can customize and enjoy even after the party. This article has 14 different lip scrub recipes you could choose from!
Meditation/Yoga With all the wedding planning, your soon-to-be-Mrs. might need to unwind and stretch a little. Why not attend a yoga class or even host your own?! Taking time to be slow will help you all soak up the last moments before your girl gets swept away!

What other spa-themed activities can you think of? Leave them in the comments!

Tips for Opening Presents

Not everyone chooses to open gifts at their party, and that’s totally ok. For those that are considering it, I have some tips for you!

  1. Write down the gifts and who they came from! I can not emphasize this enough. It makes it a million times easier to write thank you cards later. Because of that, help your bride out by keeping track of what she was given and who gave it to her.
  2. Tell the bride to take her time – As the person being celebrated, you can feel pressure to get through this as fast as possible. You tell yourself that you have to go at lighting speed otherwise people will get bored. This just ins’t true. Because of this, it can help to hear that everyone is just excited to be with you.
  3. Consolidate – You think the bride wants to try and stuff 20 bags in her car? No way! Instead, take time to clean up the trash and put items together. This quick step will make transportation of the goods much simpler.

Spa-Themed Bachelorette Party Favors

Fun fact: one of the best ways to create a rich, memorable experience for attendees of an event is to give them something to take home!

With that in mind, I’ve come up with some simple, inexpensive party favors you could send friends home with. I tried to include a wide variety of price ranges, so that you could find something that would fit your needs!

Which one will you choose? I would honestly love to receive any of these, so you can’t go wrong.

I hope that all of these ideas help you throw a bachelorette party that the bride will remember forever! Happy celebrating!
