Bluey Birthday Party Decor

When it comes to planning the decor for a Bluey Birthday party, you really can’t go wrong. Thanks to the tv show, there is a color palette you can easily go off of (blues, oranges, and creams). Along with that, there are plenty of symbols that can be used such as the characters, dog paw prints, dog bones, and more!

  • Bluey Hanging Garland – With this free printable, you can make a garland for your favorite characters including Bluey, Bingo, Coco, and Snickers! So cute and easy.
  • Bluey Themed Posters/Banners/Cutouts – Etsy is a GREAT place to get any kind of large printables for a Bluey party. There is a range of prices and designs, so that you can find something that fits both your budget and party vibe!! OR you can also make you own like the ones in the photo!
  • A Bluey-tastic Table Setting – I love the idea here of using a giant coloring-page to serve as the table setting. It is a cute and interactive way for kiddos to eat together. You can also jazz up the table look with Bluey-themed tableware, such as plates, cups, and napkins, to enhance the theme.
  • Shades of Blue Balloon Arch – Balloon arches tend to be a pretty inexpensive way to add a large visual and pop of color to the room. This one from Amazon gets great reviews and has shades that fit perfectly into a Bluey celebration.
  • Photo Spot for Bluey Lovers – I’ve found lots of examples of photo backdrops for a Bluey party on Instragram, so definitely check those out! Big visual areas like this can really help a party feel themed!
  • Paw Prints on the Floor – Another form of inexpensive and themed decor is to add paw prints to your floor leading from the front door to the party. You could get pre-made ones from Amazon or make your own with paper, stickers, or even chalk!

Bluey Birthday Party Activities

Bluey truly is the pup who loves to play, so a Bluey-inspired party needs some amazing, kid-friendly activities! Here are some that you could try with kids ranging from toddlers to preschool and elementary school.

  • Keepy Uppy! – This is a game that Bluey plays herself, so OF COURSE it needs to be added to your party activities. The objective of the game is simple. Just use a red balloon, toss it up in the air, and then try to keep it from touching the ground.
  • Bluey Inspired Play-dough – Have the kids use a selection of play dough to recreate something from the show. They could make “dog treats” that Bluey and Bingo would enjoy, a paw print, or the Blue Heller pup herself!
  • Pin the Tail on Bluey! – This is a fun twist on the classic game “Pin the Tail on the Donkey”. Little kids simply get blindfolded and then have to attempt to attach the tali to the correct place on a blown up image of Bluey!
  • Paw-Print Walk – Play this like a normal cake walk game, except have the kids step on paw shaped cut outs on the floor!
  • Watch an Episode of the Show – After the kiddos have run around a bit, they may be ready for a more chill activity. If that’s the case, I’m sure they would LOVE a short feature of Bluey!
  • Do Some Bluey Coloring Pages – Help your tiny guests express their creativity with a simple coloring activity! You could offer them crayons, colored pencils, or even washable water color.
  • Story Time with Bluey Books – There are all kinds of Bluey books that can be enjoyed and many of them are $5 or less!! This would be a great activity to do with little ones to keep them entertained!

Themed Bluey Party Foods

A party isn’t a party without food. We know this. We also know that little children who get hangry are a scary thing lol. SO, why not keep the guests happy and add a little extra theme to the party with these amazing Bluey party foods?!

Bluey Birthday Party Themed Foods
  • Themed Fruit Snacks – Amazon is serving up Bluey shaped fruit snacks and WE ARE HERE FOR IT! I don’t know many kids who don’t like fruit snacks, so I’d say this one is a pretty safe bet.
  • Warm Pizza – There is an episode of the show, “Pizza Girls”, where Bluey and Bingo enjoy a fun pizza night. And if Bluey and Bingo like pizza, your guests are sure to like it too!
  • Blue Raspberry Lemonade – There aren’t a ton of blue foods for kids, but thankfully it’s super easy to make this tasty blue lemonade!
  • Bluey Cupcake Cake – Serving up cake to kids can be tricky because it just gets messy so fast! Thankfully, this Bluey cupcake cake is a simple alternative that is WAY cute and totally do-able for the average baker.
  • Blue, White and Orange Snacks – Enjoy snacks that match the theme’s colors! Some great options include blueberries, goldfish, marshmallows, peach slices, cheese sticks, blue jell-o, and more.
  • Bluey and Bingo Candy Popcorn – This treat features the colors of our beloved tv show characters AND is a relatively easy-to-make finger food for kids. Sounds like a win in my book!
  • Ice cream! – In season 2 episode 46, Bluey and Bingo learned about sharing ice cream. Just like them, the little kiddos can enjoy ice cream and hopefully eat it before it melts!

Bluey Party Essentials Off of Amazon

Maybe we’ve gotten lazy or maybe Amazon is just that good, but I can’t tell you how nice it is being able to do party shopping at one website online. Truly insane. And since Amazon has literally anything you could need or want, you can bet that it has all your Bluey Birthday Party needs covered!

Here are some Amazon finds that are perfect for throwing a Bluey bash.

  • “Bluey” TV Show Stickers – Let’s be real. Kids LOVE stickers! They are a cheap way to decorate a table, give as a party gift, or use for a game!
  • Orange “Happy Birthday” Sign – With all the blue decor, you may want to incorporate some other colors to break things up. This orange happy birthday sign channels the colors or Bluey’s little sister, Bingo, making it a perfect addition to the party decorations.
  • Bluey Seasons 1 & 2 DVD Box Set – Whether you decide to give this to your child as a birthday present or use it as an activity at the party, it is a great item to have on hand for any Bluey lover!
  • Blue and Orange Party Backdrop – Colorful streamers, backdrops, and fringes are great ways to cover up a boring wall or add a bit of festivity to an area of the party.
  • Paw Print Goodie Bags – These adorable bags are the perfect thing for sending guests home with a party gift or even allowing guests to make a snack mix! Simple, cute, and multi-purpose.

Party Favor Ideas

Fun fact: having something to take home is one of the best ways to help guests remember an event! So though you will likely have a young audience at your Bluey birthday party, it can be worthwhile to send them home with a little trinket! Here are some ideas I’m obsessed with!!!

  • “Keepy Uppy” Balloons – Whether you play the game at the party or simply send your guests home with a balloon, this is an extremely inexpensive item for guests to take home!
